The ZhengHe Treasure-Ship Workshop is a key international cooperation initiative of Nanjing Vocational Institute of Transport Technology under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It focuses on collaboration with Brunei Darussalam and Uzbekistan, promoting internationalized curriculum delivery, vocational skills training, and joint development of technical standards.
In recent years, the Institute has expanded its cooperation network in Southeast Asia by organizing overseas training programs, enterprise visits, and academic exchanges in Brunei. It has also signed an MoU with SEAMEO VOCTECH, further enhancing the Institute’s international influence and regional partnerships.
To build the ZhengHe Treasure-Ship Workshop into a benchmark platform for international vocational education cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, promoting high-quality talent development, industry–education integration, and sustainable people-to-people connectivity between China and partner countries. The ZhengHe Treasure-Ship Workshop is committed to delivering internationalized vocational education services through curriculum export, skills training, and standard co-development. It aims to enhance the professional competence and global employability of local youth and enterprise employees, support the localization of talent for Chinese-invested enterprises overseas, and explore innovative models of industry–education integration through close collaboration with vocational institutions and industry partners.
